Mary Mulvihill
Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1962, Mary Mulvihill is living in Missouri City, Texas with her studio at the Sugar Land art Center here in Sugar Land. She earned a B.S. in Graphic Design at the Art Institute and worked as a graphic designer until getting back to her painting roots. She has exhibited her work in California, Georgia and here in Texas. Her series of acrylics on canvas entitled “Play On,” is an artist’s representation of the emotional connection musician’s have to their music. More of Mary’s work can be viewed at her Studio at the Sugar Land Art Center. She enjoys the challenge of experimenting with different mediums and techniques creating pieces in ways unfamiliar to her. |
